Copper hit all-time highs and pulled back — a buyable dip inside a strong trend, not a top.
Semis make up most of this week's plays.
Both threads are really one story: they're what physically powers and computes the AI build-out. Copper wires the data centers and the grid feeding them; the chips do the thinking. When the metal and the silicon base and break at the same time, that's not a coincidence — it's demand showing up in the tape.

$WDC ( ▲ 1.51% ) (Western Digital) — Swing Trade
The Company: Western Digital makes hard drives and flash storage — a direct beneficiary of the AI data explosion, since all that data has to live somewhere.
The Setup: Watching the base for a swing entry alongside the rest of this week's storage/semis theme.

$CPXR ( ▼ 0.16% ) (2x Copper ETF) — Long-Term Trade / Commodity
What it is: Since you can't buy the metal outright, $CPXR is a 2x leveraged ETF that tracks the daily move in copper — the cleanest way to get geared exposure to the breakout.
The Monthly View: Copper has broken out of a 5-year base (2021–2026) and is now printing its first 4-month pullback after that 54-month base — this can be a strong 2-year move. Zoom out and that 5-year base sits inside a 10-year base, which means this could run for up to 4 years.
The Daily Setup: A cup-and-handle breakout. Copper just tested the 20-day MA — a great spot to add — while it tests the breakout level and bounces off it, and off the 50-day MA at the same time.
The Trigger: Price holding the breakout level and reclaiming the 20-day MA on the pullback.
