Swing Trade Alerts

I’ve got a variety of setups for you—from calm long-term movers to explosive swing trades.
You don’t have to take every trade—pick the ones that suit your style, or sit out entirely if nothing clicks. Let’s dive in:

🧱 Residential Construction $FIX ( ▲ 1.7% )

Type: Long-Term Position

$FIX ( ▲ 1.7% ) is one of the calmest, most stable stocks on the list. It’s ideal for a long-term hold, not a quick swing.
I’ve mentioned this one before, and I’m bringing it back because the entry is still valid.

👉 Refer to the Resources page or our earlier newsletter on long-term trades for guidelines on how to manage this.

FIX

💼 Earnings Play $GWRE ( ▲ 0.06% )

Type: Swing Trade

$GWRE just posted a 13.5% gap up on earnings—anything over 7% is impressive and worth a look.

📈 Key Bullish Signs:

  • Breaking out of a big, dormant base

  • Now trading at all-time highs

📤 Exit Options:

  • Option 1

    • Sell ¼ to 1/3 at G1

    • Sell rest at G2

  • Option 2 (My preferred method):

    • Sell ¼ to 1/3 at G1

    • Sell the rest if the stock closes below the 10EMA

Crypto Sector Play $COIN ( ▲ 2.73% )

Crypto is heating up again, and stocks like $COIN ( ▲ 2.73% ) tend to follow the action.
While $MSTR ( ▼ 0.13% ) is still the best setup in this space (I’m watching it closely), $COIN ( ▲ 2.73% ) is a solid #2 and is currently setting up.

Swing Trade Guidelines

A detailed version is available on the Resources page, but here’s a quick summary:

What are we looking for in swing trades:

➖➖➖

Price Structures: Cheats, Double Bottoms, Breakouts, Cup and Handle, Buyable Gap-Ups, Flat Bases, 50MA Bounce, 150MA Bounce, VCP (Virtual Contraction Patterns)

🔸

Stock Selection: Leaders in strong industries, Stocks showing high relative strength, Companies with strong earnings
🔸

When to enter: Market bouncing off 20EMA, After Market correction, After Bear market

Risk Management:

➖➖➖

Risk 0.3%–0.8% of your account per trade.
Never risk more than 1% of your total account on a single position.
🔸
Note: Lower risk is used due to tighter stops and higher likelihood of getting stopped out.

Exit Strategy

➖➖➖

Sell 1/3 or half at Goal 1.

Exit the rest at Goal 2.
🔸
Goal 1 is normally 1.5*ATR(14) from the entry point.

Regards,

Valentine
